Our Tree of Liberty design pays homage to the famous Thomas Jefferson quote, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." Even more telling is what was written by Jefferson in his letter just prior to this phrase: "And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms."
This is the very essence of the American spirit that gave way to our great country and which still persists in the hearts of true patriots today.
