Our new salmon hook incorporates a specifically tuned eye bend for optimal hook up to land ratio. Once these salmon get pinned, they get landed! The eye once tied on a bait loop or snell will sit exactly how you want it to. This hook incorporates the new 4.8 Alpha Point Technology. AlphaPoint® delivers an even sharper and slimmer hook point that is 4.8 times the wire diameter. The elongated and shallower point section allows for deeper and faster hooksets, converting the slightest pressure into efficient penetration. Also included in this hook, is Mustad's new TitanX coating for a smooth, gunmetal finish that increases sharpness and penetration.

While testing this hook we tested a lot of different offsets to get the optimal extreme hookset. The hook offset is meant to penetrate the bone of the salmon's mouth to help increase the hook to land ratio.
