We were able to obtain a small quantity of Victorinox current issue German military pocket knives. These are brand new Victorinox knives were made exclusively for the German Army (Bundeswehr) with olive drab nylon handles. We are very impressed with the one handed opening blade that locks open. The closed size can best be described as "just right" or 4 3/8". This is not your father's Swiss Gentleman's Knife. This is a real work tool that won't let you down.
Collectable? We are not sure. Some of our staff members are putting some away calling them collectable. The rest of us are calling them quality tools and using them as our every day carry knives.
