Most of the modern membrane fabrics with surface polyurethane spraying are not designed for extremely low temperatures due to the fact that polyurethane hardens at low temperatures, and this further leads to the hardening of the fabric as a whole. The consequence of this is a characteristic of "rustling" when moving. The WindBlock thermal fabric does not use polyurethane spraying to protect the membrane, but a dense polyester-structured pile (from the inside and outside of the membrane), protects it from the effects of low temperatures, abrasion (both from the inside and outside) and creates an additional insulating air layer. Such a three-layer structure of the membrane fabric completely eliminates the "rustling" effect. It has nylon fabric reinforcements on the elbows.
